The Impact Club Open House starts November 1. Save my free seat
hi, I'm Carissa

I help women leave corporate and build a consulting or coaching business.

I was the Director with the good salary, the health insurance and the Sunday dread. Now I help women build their own business before they hand in the badge.

My story

Four chapters.

  1. Chapter 1

    The rule follower

Good grades. Good college. Good job. I followed every rule my generation was handed. I spent 20 years in CPG marketing, made Director and built brands that are in your house right now. I loved that work.

  2. Chapter 2

    The Sunday dread

Then the dread started showing up on Sunday afternoons. I was at the 7am meeting and on Slack at 11pm. One Tuesday in the carline, I held up one finger to my kids so I could finish an executive call, and I watched their faces. I kept saying one more year. Then one day I asked myself, 'Is this it?'

  3. Chapter 3

    The math

So I did what I'd done for every brand I ever ran: I ran the numbers. My real monthly burn. My runway. What my business needed to replace my salary and our health insurance. The answer surprised me: 'I can't afford to stay.' I kept the paycheck while I built, then left in 2024 as the primary breadwinner with three kids at home.

  4. Chapter 4

    My Tuesdays back

A year after I left, we sold our house in Philadelphia, packed up the kids and moved to Florida to live the life we kept saying we'd get to someday. Today I'm a PCC-certified coach and the founder of four companies, including The High Impact Mindset Co., Impact Club and Love4Life Academy. Some Tuesdays at 11am, I'm lying by my pool. Most afternoons, I'm at school pickup. I live in Ponte Vedra with my husband and our three kids, and I teach what I know along the way.

what I believe

The rules I live and coach by.

  • You were born with skills people would pay you for.

Corporate has been renting them. The thing everyone already comes to you for is the start of your business.

  • The hardest part is figuring out what you want.

"I don't even know what I'd do" is the sentence every woman in corporate is thinking. It's also exactly where we start.

  • Your 20 years are the business plan.

Every launch, budget and team you led is proof you can build this. You're packaging what you know.

  • Run the math before you make the move.

Fear lives in the unknown. Once the numbers are real, it has nowhere to stay.

  • You can be responsible and brave at the same time.

Keep the paycheck while you build the exit. Your family gets a plan they can see.

  • The voice that asks "Who am I to charge that?" started long before your career.

Old fears show up in your pricing, your pitch and your plan. We work on that part too.

  • Your kids are watching.

When you build something of your own, you teach them they can too.

Short bio

Carissa Hetrick is a 90s kid who followed every rule: good grades, good college, good job. She spent 20 years in CPG marketing, made Director, and one day sat in the carline on an executive call and asked herself, "Is this it?" She ran the numbers on her own life, left corporate as her family's primary breadwinner with three kids at home, then sold the house in Philadelphia and moved her family to Florida to live the life they had been putting off. Today she is a PCC-certified coach and the founder of Impact Club, where she has helped hundreds of women turn 20 years of expertise into a consulting or coaching business while the paycheck keeps coming in. She believes life is short and the right time is the day you decide. She lives in Ponte Vedra, Florida with her husband and three kids, and most afternoons she's at school pickup.
